چکیده
Abstract We have determined the electron–phonon interaction in type II Dirac semimetallic 1T-PdTe 2 by means of helium atom scattering. While is isostructural with 1T-PtTe , only former superconductor. The difference can be traced to substantially larger value coupling λ = 0.58, obtained from Debye-Waller attenuation He specular peak. With this and surface Debye temperature, Θ D 106.2 K, we figured out superconducting critical T c 1.83 K given BCS theory, which good agreement (1.95 ± 0.03) low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy. effective mass related indicates that large due coupling, not zone-center optical mode O at 9.2 meV, as proposed a recent theoretical study, but also zone-boundary acoustic LA. Our results suggest topological states cone play negligible role on onset superconductivity.

Tunable coupling of superconducting qubits.
We study an LC circuit implemented using a current-biased Josephson junction (CBJJ) as a tunable coupler for superconducting qubits. By modulating the bias current, the junction can be tuned in and out of resonance and entangled with the qubits coupled to it. One can thus implement two-qubit operations by mediating entanglement. We consider the examples of CBJJ and charge-phase qubits. A simple...
متن کاملRole of Incommensuration in the charge density wave and superconducting states of 1T-TiSe2
A brief review of some of the most recent experiments on the charge density wave (CDW) transition in 1T-TiSe2 is presented. With increasing pressure or intercalation, the CDW can be suppressed and a superconducting (SC) phase emerges. In the pristine 1T-TiSe2, a commensurate CDW develops around 202 K. These experiments show that by tuning these external parameters like pressure, or doping, the ...

متن کاملCoupling nitrogen-vacancy centers in diamond to superconducting flux qubits.
We propose a method to achieve coherent coupling between nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in diamond and superconducting (SC) flux qubits. The resulting coupling can be used to create a coherent interaction between the spin states of distant NV centers mediated by the flux qubit. Furthermore, the magnetic coupling can be used to achieve a coherent transfer of quantum information between the flux q...
